THE ENNEAGRAM'S GIFT TO VITAL RELATIONSHIPS| MARCH 27–28 2010 | Our vital relationships are the foundation upon which we thrive or wither. What makes for healthy intimacy? How does our Enneagram type help and hinder our most important relationships? How can we deepen and heal these relationships? This in-depth workshop explores the ways the Enneagram understandings of type can be applied powerfully to heal, develop, and strengthen our vital relationships. It is designed for all who want to deepen and enhance their primary relationships whether these be partners, family members, close work associates, significant friendships or practitioners working with relationship issues. For each type we will explore attentional patterns and their effect in relationships, key issues and vulnerabilities, personal reactivity and resentments, and specific tasks for personal development. The workshop will use brief talks, inner practices, panels in the Narrative Tradition of the types speaking for themselves, guided interactions in relationships, practical exercises, and discussion. 1) Further your understanding of the Enneagram system and its powerful practical applications in vital relationships; 2) Build your understanding and utilization of the Universal Growth Process (UGP) and the associated “4As” of Awareness, Acceptance, Action, and Adherence; 3) Deepen appreciation of differences among us based on the nine types; 4) Experience more fully your path of development and ability to love; and 5) Enjoy the workshop!
FRIDAY EVENING MARCH 26 features an “Introduction to the Enneagram” - 7:00pm to 9:30pm - presented by Dr. Daniels and associates, and is a pre-requisite for those with little or no knowledge of the Enneagram. This 2.5-hour program offers a fascinating and dynamic introductory experience and one that prepares participants for the weekend ahead. At the completion of the introduction you will be able to identify and evaluate your patterns of thought, feeling and behavior in relationships.
